The online course “How to read the Bible for starters” helps you to start reading the Bible by learning a number of principles. But you won’t just learn principles; your own adventure with the Bible will start.

The complete course is online and can be done from any computer with an Internet browser and Internet access. A participant will get a course tutor. Your tutor will read the tasks that you’ve finished and will respond to them. The course consists of eight lessons and each lesson contains three reading tasks. Doing such a task will take an average of 20 minutes. At the end of the course you’ve worked through the lessons and you’ve read the whole Gospel of John.

For whom

This course is intended for people for whom the Bible is still unknown. For example, you have just finished an Alpha course, or perhaps the online course “Why Jesus?” and you want to continue reading the Bible. Important: You need to have the time to complete at least one lesson per week, including the three reading exercises (one exercise takes approximately 20 minutes to complete).
