The course is developed by Wouter van der Toorn, in Dutch (:: startersbijbel.nl ::) Purpose of the course is primarily to provide new believers with a great start with the Bible. The course is also very helpful for Christians who want to renew their relationship with God. This course motivates you to start with the Bible afresh.

The course can be used in two settings:

1. Completely on-line, with help of a trained personal online course leader
2. Completely on-line, done with help of a trained personal course leader from a local group (church, student-group, etc)

Pilot

A pilot of the course is running since June 2009. It partly runs in my own local church (baptistengemeente Doetinchem), and partly just by the Internet without a real life connection. I hope to be able to post some testimonies of participants soon. Who can tell something about the course better then one of them? I’m very enthusiastic about the responses I’ve received from the participants so far.

Under construction

This course is still under construction. The Dutch version is complete, now we’re in the process of editing and translation. If you’re interested in this course, feel free to contact me.

We’re working on a second course as an addition to this first one. The first is based on the gospel of John, the second one will more be focused on the every day Christian life, based on the book of Acts.
